Sean Owen commented on SPARK-15645: ----------------------------------- The guideline is really: JIRA = what should be changed and PR = how that change should be implemented. When these things are essentially the same -- JIRA says "fix these typos" and PR just fixes the typos -- it isn't adding anything. It makes sense to just make a PR for [MINOR] changes. I think it's a bit of a judgment call, but this seems clearly [MINOR]. In general I'd encourage people to try to make larger more comprehensive logical changes out of a minor change, like fixing all instances of a minor problem and not just one. However sometimes there really is just one isolated fix that is worth making. > Fix some typos of Streaming module > ---------------------------------- > > Key: SPARK-15645 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-15645 > Project: Spark > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Streaming > Affects Versions: 2.0.0 > Reporter: Xin Ren > Priority: Trivial > > No code change, just some typo fixing. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscr...@spark.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-h...@spark.apache.org
