I'm evaluating CBO in Spark and I'm missing this feature. I'm querying Hive
Metastore directly to fetch statistics, but this is cumbersome. Do you have an
idea of how to improve the attached PR to integrate it with column-level access
functionality? Is there an example somewhere for how to check column-level
permissions?
