Hi [~hyukjin.kwon], yes I did and here is how I started the spark-shell on my
Mac.
./bin/spark-shell --packages org.apache.spark:spark-avro_2.11:2.4.0
My spark version is:
scala> spark.version
res0: String = 2.4.0
