[~josephkb] I'm not too familiar with how checkpointing works, but it should be
fine to make partitionsRDD non-transient. The only thing is that we originally
made it transient to work around closure capture in Vertex/EdgeRDDImpl, so we
might need to fix some suppressed bugs in those classes.
