Thank you for the comment [~dongjoon]. Please note that the PR was in-progress
([https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/51585),] but may have not been linked
properly here. I am actively working on this issue, and other issues, in a way
that doesn't create dependencies or blockers for any other Spark contributors
(for example, this Jira task is fairly isolated from other items in the TIME
effort).
Also, I'm doing my best to leave comments/updates regularly and make progress
on the outstanding tickets in a timely manner, which can be seen both in the
PRs and in Jira tickets, through comments. Given that I've gone through tickets
with 3+ month-old comments and no recent updates, I think <10 days is fairly
reasonable, especially on a Jira ticket that I created myself and that I'm
currently making progress on.
That said, I do appreciate your concern and I'll try to do even better in these
contributions!
