Feature (“minor”) releases occur about every 6 months in general until Apache
Spark 4.2.0. Hence, Spark 4.2.0 would generally be released about 6 months
after 4.1.0, [~uros-db]. In addition, Spark 5.0 is scheduled in 2027 as
[~gurwls223]'s recent proposal.
