In PySpark Connect, {{df.persist(storageLevel)}}, {{df.cache()}} and
{{df.unpersist(blocking)}} return the DataFrame itself: {{df.persist() is df}}
is {{True}}.
The Rust-backed Python client returns a new DataFrame object of the same plan,
so {{df.persist() is df}} is {{False}}. Return the DataFrame itself as PySpark
does.
