That's fine. I didn't perceive this part as an "API" that must not change in
the future -- these scripts should maybe have been thought through a bit more
initially then -- and wanted to get rid of the small amount of noise here.
Wrappers don't hurt though. Was there anyone who was apparently relying on this?
