Live Confluence snippets and html exported docs are using different sources

Additionally the guide at
http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/WW/Documentation+Style+Guide#DocumentationStyleGuide-Singlesourcingwithsnippets
says that when a snippet url lacks a http prefix that
https://opensymphony.dev.java.net/source/browse/*checkout*/_ . This doesn't
seem to be the case as far as I can tell.
So the question is what URL is being used when viewing the live Confluence
pages and what is being used when the wiki is exported to html?
