Yes Benjamin you are right, that plugin was/is an attempt to write the tags
using GXP and provide support for GXP in general, just after it was released. A
short time after that the GXP folks donated this code, which we need to
test/clean up and make into a proper plugin, if you are up for the task I, feel
free to attach a patch or zip here for it.
