PR contains changes for {{RequestMap}} and {{ApplicationMap}} .
Assumed all keys would always be of type {{String}} .
Did not change SessionMap yet, but as far as i can tell, SessionMap keys can
only be Strings also, so if these changes are OK for you, i can update the PR
to also change SessionMap in a similar way.
