This is astonishing work 🎉 Thanks for taking time and looking into it it. I was planning to prepare a dedicated branch to start working on the Struts 7.x, see this [thread](https://lists.apache.org/thread/lt6pfhzmv1jojd8f1q5mcnzp7d00wcdf) in the dev@ mailing list.
