        Issue Type: DEFECT

                    in MS Word Office 2007

ODT File

It is noted that when saving documents from .odt format, to .doc format:

1. The tables do not show up properly on MS Word (Office) 2007.
2. Comments appear illegible within Word 2007.

It is also noted that the spell checker does not spell check footnotes.

It is noted that the user could not readily find an option to update a
cross-reference (in my case to an existing footnote) to set the text that
cross-references the footnote in "super script", although this seems to be
automatically set to "super script" when creating a new footnote. Ideally the
behaviour to set the value cross-referencing a footnote (whether existing or
new footnote) should be automatic, because an Office user is accustomed to this
behaviour.

Attachment provided solely for the purposes of reporting the technical issue.
