Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: supresegmentals: misaligned and rectangle appears
Classification: Application
Product: Word processor
Version: OOo 3.3
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P3
Component: formatting
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
QAContact: [email protected]
Version: 3.3 (latest official release)
Operating System: Windows XP (SP3)
Language of OO and OS: Chinese (complex, also known as traditional)
1. Make sure you have EnableHexNumPad configured on the register
to enter Unicode.
2. Select Times New Roman.
3. Type "m" and then Alt+(NumPlus,Num302) (hold down Alt, and then
press on the NumPad, four keys: + 3 0 2).
This will create a suprasegmental "^" on top of the "m". (You may
also try 300, 301, and 303.)
PROBLEM:
1. The "^" in stacked on the upper right, instead of on the actual
top.
2. There is a rectangle to the right of the "m".
COMPARISON:
This is correct on Windows 7. I wonder whether this is WAD
(works as designed) on Windows XP, based on the fonts or the
suprasegmental engine supplied with Windows XP.
Thanks.
