I found the cups filter "oopstops", which apparently tries to correct a specific error in postscript output of OO - however not successfull in my configruation as described above. Same error when using OOwriter 2.2 or 3.3, cups 1.38 or 1.47.., actual oopstops version from http://www.srz.de/Members/bla/cups/filter/oopstops/oopstops.pdf checked the header of print files "%!PS-Adobe-3.0" and even bought a new printer of same type.
