There's case where control information is sent from tasks to the AM, or between
AM components.
This is informal, and not tracked by the DAG at the moment. A better approach
would be to have control edges explicitly defined to specify where such data
flow is allowed, and allow tasks / AM components to make use of these to send
daTa.
