Comments:
- Given that hadoop 2.6.0 is the default now, there should be no need for a
hadoop26 profile in various poms ( such as
tez-plugins/tez-yarn-timeline-history/ and tez-tools/analyzers/ ).
- Doesnt this mean that the default shim when nothing is specified should be
the 2.6 impl i.e. get rid of the 2.6 shim to and replace with the default impl
with 2.6 specific code?
- Seems like there is no need for profiles in tez-tools/analyzers/pom.xml as
job-analyzer should always be compiled from now on?
Might be better to do these code changes only on master given that initial
releases of 0.8 did allow builds against 2.2/2.4 even if not fully supported.
