Forgot to add that there are some params which are defined at run-time and some
that will never have defaults such as path to tez jars on HDFS. Are you hitting
any issues due to such params with local runner? Just trying to understand what
is the driving use-case behind having a default file? For such cases, having a
default xml will not solve the issue.
