The ATS data generated by Tez is extremely important for analyzing performance
issues post-hoc.
Currently, the only way to get it is to run an ATS server as part of
hadoop-2.4.x
Something as simple as a record separated JSON chunks into an HDFS file would
simplify the Tez application telemetry when ATS is not present.
