Uploading a patch that makes the use of ATS vs a simple logger configurable (
instead of using shims ). By default, tez would now depend on 2.4.0 but could
be built against hadoop 2.2 by disabling the "hadoop24" profile via -P!hadoop24
[~t3rmin4t0r] Mind taking a look if this meets your needs? The json in the log
file probably needs some work to try and get it to match yarn timeline data.
[~jeagles] Let me know if you have any comments. The only pending item I still
have is to write a minor unit test for the simple event logger.
