Steve Owens commented on TS-1072:
---------------------------------

Ah, after using sudo it works. I was thrown off by the fact I didn't a
permission denied error but the program behaved as if it ran normally but found
no data.

> Key: TS-1072
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-1072
> Project: Traffic Server
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Stats
> Affects Versions: 3.0.1
> Environment: CentOS 5.7
> Reporter: Steve Owens
>
> The following command yields an error which is not in accordance with the
> currently available documentation for traffic server:
> /tmp >/opt/trafficserver/bin/traffic_line -r
> proxy.node.http.user_agent_xacts_per_second
> /opt/trafficserver/bin/traffic_line: Variable Not Found
> How can we get the basic statistic related to how many transactions per
> second the traffic server is handling. This is needed for capacity planning.
