I am closing this as stale. This describes dependency-tree corruption
observed only with the experimental HTTP/2 stream priority feature enabled
(proxy.config.http2.stream_priority_enabled), which has defaulted to off for
its entire life and is still documented as experimental. The companion fix
referenced here, https://github.com/apache/trafficserver/pull/5835, was closed
without merging, and no other change has addressed the reported corruption in
the nearly seven years since. The underlying RFC 7540 priority and
dependency-tree scheme was deprecated by RFC 9113 and abandoned by common
browsers, so this default-disabled, deprecated code is effectively dead-end. If
anyone is still running with stream priority enabled and hits this, please
reopen with a current reproduction against a recent release.
