Update:  Slots still available !  Deadline Has Been Extended!

Have you always wanted to:

*Learn science content through inquiry
*Develop skills to select appropriate inquiry and assessment strategies
*Modify and adapt traditional curriculum
*Increase familiarity with state and national science education standards and frameworks

Now's your chance!  NSTA has decided to extend its pilot Academy Offering "Inquiry: The Bridge Between Content Standards and Student Learning".  This National Science Teachers Association Academy program will focus on the varied habitats of the Missouri River Basin that surrounds the Lied Conference Center.  Woodland, grasslands, wetlands, and rivers provide interesting settings for student inquiry lessons.  Join other middle level educators (emphasis is on grades 4-8) to enhance and update your science content knowledge.  Participate in hands on activities to learn skills and techniques suitable for your life, physical and environmental science classes.
