it depends on why you want to use imap instead of pop in the first
place. if you don't actually need imap-specific features, then you can
have a virtually pop-like workflow:
- create a Channel for every master mailbox
- make every Channel use the same slave mailbox
- don't use SyncState *, as that's incompatible with the previous point
- use Sync PullNew (don't ever Push)
