Hi, I've been using mbsync with a private IMAP server, using ssh to connect, and it worked quite nicely despite the large amount of emails.
I've now decided that I want to use it directly with my GMail account. I've set up a few channels, basically INBOX and All Mail, and everything works quite well when downloading emails (keeping into account I've 60K of them in my inbox), however it is extremely slow inot only when I try to append (which I could understand) but also when I expunge from the gmail folder. Looking with -V it seems to be deleting emails 1 by one and it takes a couple of second for each. If I use Apple's mail, it's much faster. Any idea of what might be going wrong? I'm using "expunge both" and the HEAD of a couple of days ago.
