is there a way with mbsync to update messages on the Far side when
the
message was changed on Near?
The use case: Removing (detaching) attachments as other email
clients like Thunderbird
I often deal with large attachments but still have limited storage
on
the IMAP server. So I store the attachments somewhere else, then
keep the
original messages just with their attachments removed in my
mailbox.
Locally I use altermime to remove the attachments, see for some
background from other people:

But after changing the messages locally those changes are not
synced
back to my IMAP server.
