Responsibilities * Graphic preparation and slicing of layered comps provided by design team. * Development of front-end web pages using XHTML, CSS, MediaRSS, XML & JSON. * Client side scripting of interactive site components and ad system integration using JavaScript, DHTML, and AJAX. * Integration of JavaScript API-based Community Platform * Creation of Embeddable Dynamic Flash & JavaScript Widgets based on JSON & RSS Requirements * At least 5 years of web development experience, preferably in media and entertainment. * Expert level in hand coding HTML & JavaScript in non-WYSIWYG editors (ex. Eclipse) * Ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. * Strong knowledge of XHTML, DHTML, Table-less CSS and JavaScript. * Experience with Flash application development, ActionScript 2.0/3.0 with XML data. * Experience with JavaScript Frameworks/Toolkits (Dojo, MooTools, Prototype) and JSON. * Proven ability to develop applications across multiple complex environments with varying configurations (DEV, STAGE, PROD). * Experience developing in a LAMP environment with PHP and mySQL. * Understanding of version control concepts and tools, particularly SVN. * Solid understanding of web standards and IA/UI best practices. * Extensive experience in at least one object-oriented, server-side scripting language such as PHP, ASP, JSP or similar. * Resourcefulness in troubleshooting complex problems, finding available internal solutions, as well as developing new solutions based on external sources. * Strong understanding of Content Management Systems. * Experience with CDNs (Akamai, Limelight, etc.) preferred * Video player and game development using Flash and ActionScript, a plus. * Experience with Social Media Application Providers (Pluck, KickApps) as plus * Familiarity with 3rd-party ad serving and analytics integration a plus. ***Please make note of my new email address thanks!
