Description:



Client is in the process of expanding their Enterprise Resource Management 
(ERM) and Business Wareshouse systems with new SAP functionality found in the 
new SAP ERP 2006 ECC 6.0 and Business Intelligence (BI) 7.0, and Enterprise 
Protal 7.0 (EP)respectively 

The Enterprise Portal Administrator shall collaborate with the SAP Solutions 
Center and District staff to support the EP environments. 

The resource will provide expertise in configuring the identified technical 
specifications using the SAP Portal customizing tools available; facilitate the 
definition of all relevant aspects of the operation and technical architecture 
of the system; and participate in all SAP portal installations, patching , 
routine maintenance and troubleshooting. 

The consultant shall also develop and work with technical staff to ensure that 
the designs are developed with proper methodologies and techniques, in addition 
to performing troubleshooting of technical issues. The consultatn shall mentor 
District staff and be responsible for knowledge transfer. 

Requirements: 

The consultant shall possess the following experiences: 


-At least 5 yrs SAP Enterprise Portal administration 
-Minimum of 5yrs of experience supporting a similar hardware and software 
environment to the current installed environment (Sun Solaris, Oracle, ECC 5.0 
or 6.0) 
-At least 5yrs of configuration, administration of SAP WAS 6.47/7.0 and J2EE 
-Minimum of 3yrs of experience in configuration and administration of 
collaboration, Knowledge Management, use of Portal Content Directory 
(PCD),configuration of User Management Engine (UME) development of Portal Roles 
(iViwes, pages worksets, roles)and of Portal Security (SSO, SAP Logon Tickets, 
user mapping) 
-At least 3yrs experience in SAP Enterprise Portal system performance tuning 
-A minimum of 5yrs SAP experience with SAP Basis Administration. 
-A minimum of 2 SAP Portal implementations. 

Qualifications: 

The consultant shall possess the following skills and abilities: 

-Deployment of EP5.0, EP 6.0, EP7.0, installation of Portal platform, content 
management and collaboration, application sharing for collaboration, TREX and 
post installation activities, SSO configuration, Portal administration, general 
settings including User administration, configuring UME, LDAP, Importing portal 
content objects. 
-Good experience in configuration of System landscape Directory (SLD) 
-Installation of support packages with SPAM/SAINT, Add- on, Kernel Upgrades, 
client copies, OSS notes, Performance Monitoring, User administration, and 
related Activities. 
-Well versed in configuration and maintenance of system environment modes and 
profiles. 
-Expertise in configuring Transport Management System (TMS) for system 
landscape. 
-Performance Tuning and Monitoring of SAP servers. 
-Creation of operation codes, switching of operation codes for manual testing 
and defining events etc with the use of relevant transaction cods. 
-Hands on experience on all aspects of SAP Basis Administration which includes 
Configuration, Installations, STMS, Performance Tuning, Spool Administration, 
Background jobs, Workload Analysis. 
-Experience in various aspects of SAP Security and Authorizations including 
Creation of Authorization Profiles/ roles using Profile Generator (PFCG), User 
Administration and Transport management

Mandatory Skill set - SAP ECAT Tool 

Years of Experience - Minimum 6 years, at least 2 years as a Test Lead. 

Expectation- To set up an offshore /onsite model for an SAP QA team 

SAP QA Team: 


The opportunity is to provide a QA team to develop automated test scripts for 
the new Loan Processing System developed at ISG. The new Loan processing System 
on SAP was developed over a period of 5 years (mostly due to project delays) 
and was released into production as of February 2008. The application is 
currently supported by a team consisting of 12 Staff and 10 consultants. Over 
the course of last 8 months enhancements and bug fixes (total number not known) 
have been placed into the production system after manual testing, mostly 
limited to the changes thereby avoiding a complete regression testing due to 
the lack of automated tests. The current model supports 100 users based out of 
HQ and 50 back office users based out of Chennai, India. The primary 
responsibility of the QA team request is to develop the automated scripts. The 
intention is to achieve 40% - 50 % automated testing if possible over the 
course of next year. The team on a later date, time to be specified, may be 
combined to the current Quality Assurance team and may be responsible for 
signing off changes before they are placed into the production environment. 
Client is open to have these testing resources to be managed internally by the 
current same Offshore Test Team Manager. 

Testing Tools: 


The loan processing system has a web interface as well as a Windows desktop 
based interface. While the current development team used the SAP ECAT tool 
primarily for testing the SAP components of the loan processing system, the new 
SAP QA team should also look into the utilizing the approved testing tools ( 
Mercury QTP etc) to test the web interface developed on Netweaver. 

Environments: 


The current loan processing system has the standard following environments - 
Development, Test, and Production. In addition there is also a dedicated loan 
specific testing environment to support the time based (for eg: inflation 
indexed futuristic value of loans ) tests.

Client is in the process of upgrading their Enterprise Resource Manger and 
Business Warehouse systems to SAP ERP 2006 ECC 6.0 and Business Intelligence 
7.0 respectively. The Xcelsuis Query Designer will provide Business Objects and 
SAP BW/BI expertise and BW/BI configuration support in the BI 7.0 production 
environment. This consultant will collaborate with the Information Delivery 
Team and internal staff to advise on Xcelsius query and dashboard design 
utilizing the Business Objects Xcelsius and BI 7.o reporting tools. 

Responsibilities: 


-Asses the business requirements, design and develop a set of query and 
dashboard designs for the BI Project. This solution may include use of Business 
Explorer, WAD, Visual Composer, Xcelsius, and non-SAP Data Access tools. 
-Participate in new development requests and enhancements aimed at improving 
the current BI Production application which will enhance reporting and 
analytics across the broader corporate business community 
-Work directly with functional analysts and process teams to design and deliver 
web and dashboard reporting solutions for the business 
-Understand the data that will be available in BI business terms 
-Identifying what the end users want to analyze the data in BI 
-Assist the business with identifying the key performance indicators and
