Sr. RPG Developer - 10 plus years
Location: Los Angeles, CA.
Rate: $45-48/hr Max
Duration: 4-8 Months
Description:
As an RPG Developer, you will provide high quality technology solutions that
address business needs by developing applications within mature technology
environments. You will utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programming
methodologies in particular and languages and adhere to coding standards,
procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code
documentation. In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for
analysis, design, development, testing and delivery of software enhancements
for the application.
Experience:
Candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
-10 plus years of RPG project development ranging over RPG, ILE, Subfiles, DB2,
CLP - over 5 years of which should be development of projects using a SDLC
methodology
-Majority of development experience should be in major modifications or
creation of in-house software systems, rather than integration/interfacing or
customization of end-user vendor software packages.
-Experience in large application development initiatives/projects
-Understanding of SQL to the extent of designing and creating tables and
indexes.
-Understanding of RPG ILE concepts
-Ability to analyze a problem or task and develop a sequence of steps to
generate a solution
-Ability to communicate clearly
