Location: NY Duration: 6+ months Rate: open* * Inperson interview required. * We seek an individual with strong development experience to work as a key member of our US IRP electronic trading team. The role will focus on development related to real time pricing and order management, trade execution, and STP. Individual will need to be able to: Work in partnership with traders to develop, configure & support an electronic trading system using C++ and Java. Work closely with broker and customer ECNs both to troubleshoot realtime issues but also manage the testing, upgrade, and enhancement process for these platforms. Work in a dynamic team environment spanning technology, trading and quantitative modelling, communicating directly and frequently with the US Govt trading desk. Work independently to solve complex problems and develop complex component based solutions with minimal direction Supervise junior developers and delegate tasks Work with architecture and senior team leads to help define and implement global strategic ET platform. Experience and skill sets that will be needed in the role are - 5 years or more experience with Fixed Income or Equities real time trading systems. Experience working with financial models and related concepts (pricing, risk hedging, real-time order execution). C++ with STL, Java, Perl and shell scripting in Linux / Unix environments. SQL sills are required.
