College degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience required. Training courses, seminars, certifications or other application security related preferred. 3 - 5 years of industry experience Experience with Internet technologies required. Good knowledge of Application Security Solutions including, LDAP, XML, Authorization, Provisioning, Cryptographic APIs & Authentication. Security and control implementation experience desired in security applications (PKI, Netegrity (CA) SiteMinder, Tivoli Access Manager (TIM), RSA ClearTrust, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Role Manager, Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM), SUN Identity Manager (SIM), Sun Role Manager, CA Identity Manager, Novell Identity Manager, BMC Control/SA, Business Layers, BEA WebLogic Enterprise Security, BEA ALES, Securent, Aveksa Compliance and Role Manager. Knowledgeable of HIPAA and SOX regulatory requirements. Working knowledge of SQL.. Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, MS Access, DB2…) Java/J2EE, XML, Web services, Unix Scripting. Understanding of Active Directory, LDAP and Kerberos. Preferred background in application security implementation, directory schema design, understanding of customers' business processes, network and system security, security auditing techniques and/or computer controls environments. General understanding of networking and communication techniques, Internet, Intranets and protocols and their effect on security. Ability to articulate application security policies, procedures, guidelines to all levels of management and staff. Ability to interface with management and staff. Able to defuse situations, work around defensive attitudes and deal with diverse personalities. Awareness of local, national and international trends and developments in the area of security. CISSP preferred.
