Description: Most important skills: - Software development background (Java preferred) - Experienced in Java-based test automation tools (they use Selenium) - Knowledge of Web Services/API - Comfortable in a Linux environment, that is what they use for a testing platform - For Int/Sr. positions, they STRONGLY prefer candidates with experience in data warehouse testing and SQL queries They would love to see candidates with knowledge of SSL/PKI- the development, data warehouse and SQL are more important. Manager would prefer to see candidates who have longer durations on their resumes, rather than lots of 2-3 month contracts Durations: Jr. Level: 6.5 months Intermediate: 7.5 months Senior: 8.5 months Responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on testing aspects of software products/projects. Develop test plans in coordination with product development and create test cases based on these requirements. Implement testing plans and test cases and present testing results. Seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to perform testing of the company's web service based validation platform. Successful candidates will have a thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and test processes. Qualifications . Ten plus years of experience in testing and or software development . Experience in Selenium/Perl/python or other similar open source based automation . JAVA development experience . Experience in testing web services . Experience in Linux environment . Experience in Data warehouse testing Big Plus: . Experience in testing highly available applications . Experience in testing SQL Queries, stored procedures and general understanding of Oracle .
