Poosition: Facilities Engineering Specialist - II
Work Location: Park Place, New York, NY 10007
Duration: 6-7 Months
Position: System Admin with Capital OR Investment Project Experience
SCOPE OF SERVICES
· Identifying operations and maintenance needs of upgrade sites and
recommending improvements to existing facilities.
· Coordinating site activities.
· Estimating cost and material.
· Interfacing with vendors.
· Coordinating with the DoITT Operations team.
· Coordinating with the Optical Networking Specialist.
· Identifying and mitigating issues that pose a risk to the project.
Mandatory Skill/Expertise
A minimum of 4 years experience supporting capital-investment projects.
A minimum of 4 years experience with the Microsoft Office suite and with
Microsoft Project, Visio and Architecture tools.
Working knowledge of optical-networking equipment, topology, and industry
standards
