*Position: Business Objects Architect* *Location: Madison, WI* *Duration: 10 Month Contract* *Rate: $45/hr (Not Negotiable)* * * *IDEAL CANDIDATE: * - The desired candidate will possess an advanced knowledge and skill with Business Objects Reporting Tools including Universe Designer and WEBI & DESKI Report Development - They will possess strong analysis and design skills and be familiar with Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts - A solid understanding of relational data structures and proficiency in SQL development is a requirement - Prior experience with Business Objects XI is preferred. - Additional skills should include: experience with dimensional models, Oracle, DB2, and MS Access - The selected contractor will show proof of experience in designing and implementing Business Objects Universes and reports and have knowledge and experience in working on project teams - They will need excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to interact with staff at all levels of the DOT organization. *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * - Collaborates with the team to define and follow Reporting standards and best practices - Strong problem solving and testing skills, and successful project leadership experience is a necessity. - Systems Architect leads the design and development of next generation internal business system - Possesses experience in design and integration of business information within an Enterprise Data Warehouse - Designs IT infrastructure components and architecture - Proven methodology experience for complex systems integration projects and demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budget - Systems Architects capabilities with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. *REQUIRED SKILLS: * - BusinessObjects XI Release 2 and Crystal Reports XI Release 2 ; Experience in BusinessObjects XI Rel * 5+ Yrs. - Oracle; Knowledge of Oracle including stored procedures and SQL Tuning * 3+ Yrs. - Structured Analysis and Design of Online and Batch DB2/CICS/MVS COBOL Mainframe using SPUFI, SQL, FI * 3+ Yrs. - Business Objects Expert and 5+ Yrs. - Creating and reviewing SQL scripting Expert and 5+ Yrs. - Crystal Reports Limited Experience and 1+ Yrs. - Documenting requirements Moderately Strong and 3+ Yrs. *Thanks & Regards,* Alex Rodriguez** Account Manager Data Group, Inc.
