Position : *Advent Geneva * Location : NYC Duration : 6+ months Main Responsibilities: 1. New development/system enhancements on the Investment Management Platform to various downstream systems. The candidate should be able to work independently on assigned tasks and also collaborate with other team members to work on the same project. The candidate is also responsible for the tier 2 production support to be able to troubleshoot any issues promptly and come up with resolution in a timely manner. 2. Candidate should ideally have prior experience working with a Trading System or a Portfolio Accounting\Security Management space. Preference for prior Advent Geneva Knowledge or any other accounting package experience. 3. Senior level experienced Candidate who can assist in the integration and development efforts for Paladyne (Security Master) and Advent Geneva. 4. Should have the capacity to make key design and architecture decisions. 5. Should be willing to assist in development, integration and deployment. 6. At least 2 large scale implementations with Geneva 7. Subject matter expert, experience in working as a Geneva consultant along with development teams Essential Skills: 1. Should be willing to learn and contribute in a very past faced environment. 2. Developed set of ETL tools\transformers to move Security / position / trade and related information between various components of a Trading Platform. 3. Experience or exposure to a Trading environment: Charles River, EZ Castle 4. Familiar with various instrument classes, P&L and other accounting concepts. Essential Technical Skills: 1. .NET C# skills a must 2. SQL Server a must 3. SSIS, SSRS 4. Good understanding of OOP, OOAD 5. Must be comfortable working with Data Flows and Transformations. Desirable Skills: 1. Problem solving skills 2. Effective communication skills 3. Proactive, team player 4. US experience 5.
