Location: Mountain View,CA(Must be Local, Nonlocal will not be considered) Duration: 2+ Months (Job Summary: As a contractor, you will help in Configuration Management (Build/Release) for Kazeon software products. This involves helping in setup, manage and maintain complex software development environment. The responsibility includes manage source control, software builds process, release process and defect tracking system throughout the development life cycle. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: The following tasks and responsibilities will be central to this role: · Run, debug, and maintain build and release process. · Monitor running builds and drive broken build issues to resolution. · Provide fast turnaround on build issues during release cycle. Required Skills: The following skills are essential for this role: · 3+ Years of experience in Configuration Management. · Good knowledge of CVS. · Good Knowledge of making builds and packaging (rpm packaging) on a LINUX system (centos 5.2 and centos 5.3) · Good working knowledge on DELL Power Edge R710 Hardware · Experience using gcc compiler. · Good Perl skills. · Shell programming (bask/csh). · Experience with complex GNU make based makefiles. · Some knowledge of C/C++ Java in order to debug compilation and linking issues.
