Position: SuSE Linux consultant w / VMWare Location: Eagan, MN Duration: 9 + months Best Rate: $45-50/hr USPS in Eagan, so need a green card or citizenship and 5 years of US experience. Non local are fine, local market has been tapped out. Detailed Description Linux consultant with experience with the following: . SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) administration/installation (MUST HAVE) . Experience on HP DL and or BL Servers (MUST HAVE) . 5 - 7 years Linux experience (MUST HAVE) . 2 - 3 years recent SLES experience (MUST HAVE) . 1-2 years VMware virtualization experience . Experience with SAN based storage . Experience with HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) . Experience with deployment of SLES in a enterprise environment (MUST HAVE) . Experience with AutoYast configuration and management . Desired experience with Opsware Support will commence upon the date of first equipment delivery. Implementation support shall include a one-man year, per year of on site support at both the Eagan and San Mateo Data Centers, for the first two years of the contract. Offeror shall recover cost associated with this requirement in the price of goods and services otherwise provided under this contract.
