Position: Tester - LoadRunner Location: Wayne, PA Duration: 1 - 3 month Contract Contract Rate: Negotiable based on Experience Interview / Start: Needs to Phone Screen TODAY and START on MONDAY!!! Must: LoadRunner -- Expert Level Experience! Shell OR Perl OR VB scripting experience - Heavy Utility Languages experience! Software Engineering background Spatial data/mapping SOA, xml (data structure) java Extensive Linux or Unix experience Someone that loves testing and enjoys finding the bugs and writing software to fix them Solid communication AND self starter personality!! Plus: Writing LoadRunner scripts Python Mobile Phone testing experience Day to Day: Exact breakdown of responsibilities will change as the lifecycle of the project evolves but roughly: 60-70% coding and testing 20-30% meetings, write ups, administrative tasks and report writing This is part of the real-time traffic data project for Traffic.com. Client has developed applications used to send signals and retrieve data for real time traffic info. The development team is creating an application that takes the information and sends it out to GPS units for drivers to update them on routing information and traffic data. This QA will be testing the application from the development team. Running through code, debugging, sending back to developers to fix errors.
