Numerous positions available on LM contract for SSA- 508 testers. NEED TO HAVE THE HIGHLIGHTED SKIILS. Position Description: Extensive experience in the field of accessibility evaluation for Section 508 compliance using screen readers. Proven ability to work independently or under only general direction on consulting, testing and process issues is required. There is no expected potential for this work to extend past September 29, 2010. Skills Requirements: Extensive experience using screen magnifier (MAGic), to test Windows applications, Internet applications, and websites for compliance with Section 508. Extensive experience using screen reader (JAWS). Experience with Braille and large print is a plus. Strong knowledge of structured accessibility testing methodologies that integrate automated testing manual testing, and usability testing. Strong knowledge of accessibility best practices. Activities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Identify, document, rank, and classify Section 508 defects. Identify, document and quantify overall application risks associated with the existence of Section 508 compliance issues. Effectively communicate orally and in writing.
