Position: .Net/RAD Developer Location: Newark, DE Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $38/hr - $40/hr BEST RATE Please let me know if you have a consultant available for this... It's is a 6-12 month project in Newark, DE. Most important skills are RAD and .NET development experience. Someone with 3 years of experience is fine. Responsibilities: - Work closely with business and service delivery team to ensure appropriate business measures are defined - Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs per written specifications - Examine applications to ensure adherence to Application Engineering guidelines, processes and procedures - Utilize multiple programming languages and software technologies to ensure applications are suitably fit for use and admissible for maintenance/upgrades - Test, modify, and implement application code; make standard modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with high-level specifications, application support and industry standards - Evaluate service level issues and suggested enhancements escalated by Service Delivery Team to diagnose and address underlying system problems and inefficiencies - Engage third party suppliers on applications support issues Qualifications: - College degree in related technical or business area, specialized training and/or equivalent work experience - Typically requires up to five years of programming / application development work experience - Strong teamwork skills - Minimum 5 years of RAD programming and application support experience - Minimum of 5 years Web development experience - Minimum of 5 years C# .NET or VB.NET experience - Minimum of 2 years financial business experience - Minimum of 5 years experience with SQL Server database management and development - Experience with client / server architecture and deployment of RAD solutions to a geographically decentralized user group - Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel: spreadsheet functions, charts, pivot tables - Minimum of 5 years of MS Access Database Development, including Access macro, Access VBA, and reports. - Minimum of 5 years of MS Excel / VBA coding - Solid understanding of MS Office suite, including PowerPoint - Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills - Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures Thanks and Regards, Nick Carter - Data Group Inc.
