Position: Sr. BizTalk/.Net Developer Location: Silver Spring, MD Duration: 8 + Months Rate: $45/hr - $47/hr BEST RATE Local candidates only (MD, DC, NOVA, PA, NJ) - Preference for candidates who can go directly for F2F Summary of Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the design, development, documentation, review and maintenance of complex information systems. Ensure that development efforts comply with standards and are in accordance with the work management process. Responsible for assisting with the establishment, implementation and maintenance of software development ensuring alignment with policies, industry best practices and applicable regulations and standards; while delivering in a timely manner to meet and/or exceed customer expectations. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 6+ years' related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Competencies - Technical Technical Ability: Understands and appropriately applies procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to job requirements. Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job Information Technology: Demonstrates proven skills in the effective use of information technology, including word processing, spreadsheet, database, PowerPoint, etc Oral Communication: Expresses facts and ideas orally in a clear, convincing, and organized manner Written Communication: Recognizes or uses correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling Expertise in Software Engineering Practices and Design Methodologies and Modeling Experience with various MS Tools and Technologies Expert knowledge in .Net and C# Proficient with XML documentation of source code Experience in database design including use of MS SQL Database Knowledge of BizTalk, Web Services (SOAP, WGF) and Enterprise Library Strong data architectural background Exposure to embedded software development Knowledge of hardware / software integration Solid understanding of Object Oriented concepts Health provider industry experience preferred, particularly with provider intake process.
