(Call me at 732 333 3219) Position: BA W/ ETL, Data Warehouse, Informatica Duration: 6 months + Location: San Jose, CA Best Rate : ALAP The Business Systems Analyst/Data Analyst for this project will develop the scope, high level, and detail business requirements by working closely with Business and Technology partners. The resource will be assigned to work on a portion of a large, complex initiative that will have multiple concurrent streams. The resource is expected to possess strong analytical skills and effective communication skills, being able to translate business requirements into technical requirements, and conversely, being able to understand technical challenges and could use the information to communicate with Business partners. 5+ yrs of experience gathering and documenting business requirements for back-end data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) processes as well as processes that read, format and manipulate data for presenting to web-enabled systems. The primary deliverable will be working with a subject matter expert from the Business to deliver the scope and high level business requirements per SDLC. The resource will also be asked to develop data mapping documents, and to an extent, to develop use cases, illustration diagrams or other presentation techniques that may be used for the detailed business requirements. The resource is expected to be able to understand data model and is well versed in SQL language for performing data analysis tasks. Experience with Informatica, data warehousing and reporting systems is highly desirable and experience with Financial applications is a plus.
