Hello Friends, I have the following requirement with our preferred vendor. Please do let me know if you have any one suitable for the below position. * * *.Net/PowerBuilder Developer * *San Francisco**, CA*** *3+ Months* * * *This is 30% PowerBuilder and 70% .Net* * * *Preferably Locals* * * *Job Description**:* * * - Provide technical and business support for the Securities Services department’s production systems. Works with business unit managers and staff to assess, define and document business requirements and develop technical requirements for system replacement or enhancements. May work with vendors to resolve business software and operational issues with production systems. - Generates specifications to design, code, test, and implement application programs. - Coordinates business system changes. Diagnoses and resolves application system problems. - Installs, implements, and supports vendor packages and develops enhancements. - Performs feasibility analysis and cost/benefit studies to identify business system solutions. - Evaluates and recommendation of software packages and/or custom solutions. - Prepares project plans and associated documentation based on project management best practices. - Designs and creates new applications, either as a member of a team or independently. - Prepares SDLC and system documentation. *Required Skills: * - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education, required. - Minimum four years of computer systems experience involving installing, supporting, diagnosing, and developing functional and technical specifications for wholesale banking systems (vendor or in-house) enhancements in a highly regulated financial services (preferably banking) environment. - Programming experience using *PowerBuilder* (version 7 and newer) and *Oracle PL/SQL*. - Experience developing applications with *ETL tools; Business Objects Data Integration or Gentran Information System (GIS) from Sterling Commerce, a plus. * - *.NET development experience a plus, both using web forms and WinForms*. - Experience with BizTalk a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to take initiative and pursue assignments, responsibilities, and support requests to logical and final solutions. - Ability to apply sound standards and policies while considering business needs and justifiable exceptions. * * *Thanks & Regards,* Alex Rodriguez** Account Manager Data Group, Inc.
