The UI Engineer will have extensive expertise designing and building enterprise platforms with compelling and engaging user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Silverlight, SharePoint and Microsoft BI to produce engaging and intuitive user experiences for data visualization. The ideal candidate will: a.. Apply extensive results qualified expertise to building rich user interfaces using Silverlight 3.0 with SharePoint and Microsoft BI. b.. Work independently and in conjunction with a team of senior engineers. c.. Have experience working in an agile development environment with practical experience applying the principles of continuous to Silverlight based interfaces d.. Have developed interfaces using ComponentOne Silverlight controls e.. Be comfortable working with the Bing Maps Silverlight control Experience Requirements: · 6-10+ years of experience building user interfaces with the latest Microsoft technologies. · 1-2 years of experience building user interfaces with Silverlight. · Experience building Silverlight interfaces with SharePoint 2007 and SQL Enterprise Analysis Services. · Demonstrated experience and understanding of version control strategies, unit testing and automation options for Silverlight based interfaces. · Excellent client interaction skills are required along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Desired Skills: · Prior consulting experience. · Familiarity or experience working with SharePoint 2010 A leading candidate would have experience in the following solution domains: a.. Enterprise Content Management (taxonomy, classification, normalization, workflow, versioning, etc). b.. Agile Development with continuous integration (TeamCity, NAnt, NUnit, etc.).
