The BI Tech Lead must have prior experience leading successful data warehousing implementations as well as broad background and experience with IT application development. This individual is responsible for establishing the long term strategy and technical architecture as well as the short term scope for a multi-phased data warehouse effort. This person must have strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization. *REQUIREMENTS:* ** : Deliver a project that directly supports the key business drivers : Lead technical requirements, technical and data architectures for the data warehouse projects : Provide knowledge guidance to Business Analysts and Data Analyst. : Lead the design and develop the ETL process, including data quality and testing : Ensure compliance of metadata standards for the data warehouse : Tech Lead will need to provide subject matter expertise in leading: Technical requirements definition Source system analysis Data Modeling of Target State in Data Warehouse Source to Target Mapping documentation Subject Matter Knowledge guidance in source system analysis and Informatica ETL build : Status reporting and Issue Resolution are critical functions of the tech lead role *REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* ** : 5+ years of Database Administration Experience. : 5+ year of SQL experience and should be very strong in SQL. : 8 to 10 years experience working in enterprise data warehousing efforts using Industry Standard data movement tools such as Informatica and DataStage. : Excellent understanding of data warehousing methodologies. Candidate should be able to clearly communicate fundamental concepts during the interview and demonstrate previous experience in all aspects. : Previous project experience with at least 3 large, preferable multiyear, data warehousing project. : Experience in Oracle database programming using Partitioning, Materialized View and OLAP. : Experience in tuning Oracle queries/processes and performance management tools. : Tech lead ideally should have strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional).
