Job Title: SharePoint Developer Duration: 6+ Months Location: Detroit, MI Need only OPT's/EAD's/GC/Citizens ONLY!!! These are IN-HOUSE projects for our vendor and are exclusive to them. They have all the staffing rights and are moving very quick... Can get interviews by tomorrow for right candidates.... Tasks Include: Work with the team to: o Understand the current InfoPath form template(s) o Decide which form fields are required for reporting o Decide which form fields need to be elevated to metatags o Create specifications for MS Access-based reports Create MS Access-based reports, as required: o Determine connection and, if required, data synchronization strategy o Create reports o Create structure to allow users to run reports (i.e. menu) Tune the InfoPath platform: o The forms open slowly and some tuning of the SharePoint / SQL Server platform or InfoPath library is required o Recommend changes to the platform to scale it appropriately to the task Requirements and Qualifications: 3 - 5 years experience with MS Access: o Creating custom reports o Connecting to external data sources o Creating a user interface for reporting o An excellent understanding of how Access handles data from external sources (particularly InfoPath libraries on SharePoint) and the methods used to report on this data o Database development (ER model used by Access) 3 - 5 years experience with MS Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) 3 - 5 years experience with SharePoint and SharePoint-based InfoPath libraries: o Creating libraries o Performance tuning and scaling the SharePoint / InfoPath platform o Making form data available externally (XML services, elevating fields to metatags, etc.) o Customizing the web front-end (HTML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, MHTML, CFM) 3 - 5 years extracting data from MS SQL Server and / or SharePoint using T-SQL 3 - 5 years experience developing applications with SQL Server (2000 - 2008) as a back-end: o SharePoint o SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) o Storage procedures Thanks and Regards, Nick Carter - Data Group Inc.
