Duration: 6+ month contract Max rate for this one is 27/hr on C2C and $23hr on W2 location: San Jose, CA - Locals preferred! Job description seeking a quality assurance engineer to join our group. Responsibilities include hands-on functional, regression, and ad-hoc testing of the Mac OS X printing system. This includes reporting on project progress and status. Day to day work would also include bug reporting and isolation, test case authoring and refinement, executing automation scripts, and working closely with other teams (engineering and cross functional teams). This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a team environment. Requirements . Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience . Thorough understanding of Software QA methodologies, techniques and tools. . Working knowledge of printing systems. . Familiarity with setting up & managing devices. (Knowledge of printer hardware is a plus.) . Experience with Mac OS X and Windows. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . 3+ yrs software QA experience Preferred Experience: . C, C++, Objective C . UNIX Shell Scripting . C API testing .
