No on-call but may occasionally be required to help resolve production problems off-hours. Will be responsible for managing production support for the suite of applications - this includes becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the suite, documenting application details and processes, continually monitoring Level 1 support teams to ensure appropriate actions are taken, providing escalation support when required, triaging issues to determine root cause and interacting with the development team as required, responding to IT initiated requests for information, etc. * * *What kind of resource are we looking for?*** Technically strong and understands web environments and how Java web applications are built and deployed Able to work independently Able to communicate with technical resources as well as translate to non-technical terms to communicate with business users.
