* * *Description:* Role Title: Senior Java-Swing Developer Location: Colonial Heights,Virginia Duration: 12 Months(Contract) *F2F Must after telephonic* Responsibilities: . Functions as Senior Java Swing developer (3 - 5 years of Java Swing and Java/J2EE) . Performs analysis, design, development and test of code . Support testing in resolving defects . Serves as the coordinator between the Client and the Offshore development team . Assumes on-call responsibility as required . Effectively utilizes documentation version control . Accountable for completion of work on time to meet business performance expectations . Provide status to supervisor as required . Escalate issues and risks to supervisor in a timely manner . Participate in quality activities such as code reviews . Has experience is coordinating with offshore team Required Skills: . Strong understanding of Object Oriented programming concepts . Strong Java Swing . Strong Java/J2EE (Struts MVC framework), J2EE design patterns and database (SQL) skills . Prior experience with Eclipse IDE and preferably (IBM Rational Application Developer) . Good skills in coding using the detailed technical design .
