Position: Certified WebLogic Administrator (with WebSphere) Location: Buffalo, NY Duration: 6+ Months Certified WebLogic Administrator (with WebSphere) Required Skills: System Administration experience. Will work with multiple applications and platforms - requires experience with WebSphere Application Server, Message Broker, MQ. Experience with WebLogic (preferably certified). Other apps include Aldon, Clarity, Cognos, Crystal, Firepond, Initiate (EMPI), iSpace, Kronos, MeDecision, SQL server, SXC Web Services, and Tidal Scheduler. There will be a knowledge transfer process for the specific applications. Some Database Administration experience would be great. Responsible for system upgrades, disk management (including performance tuning), backups and recovery standards, proactive monitoring disk growth, coordination with 3rd party vendors. Will be required to coordinate small projects working with application development, teleprocessing administration, DBA's, vendors, etc. Responsible for maintaining the physical and technical security and privacy of protected health information. Support and coordinate the implementation of new workloads, maintain Service level agreements and measurements. Responsible for applying PTF's, integration and installing upgrades. Provide technical support for various core packages and maintain statistics to validate performance. Assist developers in analyzing and resolving batch cycle deficiencies.
